AboutThe SMS Client is a piece of software that allows a user to send an SMS from their PC Desktop. With its intuitive interface sending and SMS has never been so simple. Enter the Mobile number and the message, then click send. The software uses an encrypted connection to Integrity Network Solutions SMS Gateway. One of the many benifits that comes with this is that if you already have an account with Integrity and it is SMS enabled, you can use it as soon as it is installed. Please follow the directions listed there. UsageThe SMS Client is relative simple in operation. Once you have the software installed it starts immeadiately. SettingsThe first thing you will need to do is set the username and password. To do this click the settings button in the bottom left of the window. This will open the settings window. Enter your username and password which you use to log on to the internet. This is the same username and password you use to access the Members Area of the IntegrityNet Webstie. You will need to enter the password twice to ensure the correct password is entere. If you wish to save the username and password, click the save password button. This will allow you to open the SMS Client and send an SMS without having to enter the details each time. Once you have entered all the details click the save settings button. As soon as you have done this the SMS Client will check with the SMS Gateway to ensure you have a valid acocunt and that it has SMS Gateway access. Sending an SMS Once you have entered your username and password you should see a message in the window saying that the SMS CLient is ready to send an SMS. Enter the phone number that you want to send the SMS to. Do not put any other characters other than numbers in the box. You will see an error if you do. Enter the message you wish to send. As you enter the message you will see the numbers at the top left of the message box change. This is how many characters (including spaces) are left to the end of the message. SMS messages are only able to send up 160 characters (in most cases). When you are ready, click the send button. A status bar will show up letting you know that it is sending the SMS for you. Once it has completed it will show the result in the window below the Message box. If an error occurs, it will be displayed here. CostWhile this software is provided free, you will be charged per SMS you send by IntegrityNet. The cost of sending an SMS can be found on Integrity's website. or if you are not sure send them an email asking the costs. YOU should check the costs before using this software!. UpdatesThe software may be updated from time to time. As each update is released it will be uploaded to the DKNSS server. Each time you start the SMS Client it will check for updates on our server. You will then have the option of installing the update or not. We encourage all uses to keep the software up to date as this will ensure you have the latest release with any bug fixes or enhancements. SupportThis software was developed by the team at DKNSS. All support for this product is via the forums on DKNSS's website. At no time will Integrity Network Solutions provide support for this product. LicenseThis software is provided "as-is".
